And How Can They Preach Without a Place to Be Heard?

When the first-century evangelists went out, they took the gospel message to the temple, to the synagogue, to the marketplace—places where people where accustomed to hearing public proclamations and engaging in public discourse.

Do equivalent places exist in our present society? If so, what are they? If not, how do we adjust our evangelistic strategies to compensate for the lack of such fora?

Yes, but then how would we reach the German Baptists? :)

temple/synagogue--certainly, a gospel proclamation in an apostate/dead church would be equivalent.

marketplace = workplace?

Danny, Your first insight interests me, both in interpretation and application. First, were these institutions really apostate when the apostles first approached them?
Second, how might one go about getting a hearing in a modern apostate/dead church?

BTW, my wife played harp for Clayton GBC's anniversary celebration this morning. Your name was mentioned favorably in the course thereof. Keep up the good work!
